Dota Club has interviewed the manager of one of the youngest teams (yet attracting attention) on the dota scene. Karabas speaks on recent changes in the roster, their plans for this ASUS and the nearest future of the RoX.KIS.

Hello, please introduce yourself to our readers.
Hi, my name is Aleksei, I am RoX.KIS.Dota team manager.
Though RoX.Kis is rather new a team it can rightfully bear the status of one of Russia’s top teams, tell us shortly about the players and how you managed to reach this high within such a short time.
When creating the team we handpicked new-school players who were barely known to the international community and had long been overshadowed by the great Russian players, yet their performance at recent LAN events might have been called nothing less than remarkable. The core of the team is doubtlessly Dread, Santa and Beast, the players to have been with the team since the very outset, and who have exhibited stability – the trait many ingenious players lack most. The team’s success to a great extent hinges on the trio and endless training and I should say we are now all set to move ahead. A significant contribution to the success has been made by another trio, the young trio, - MolLoT, Ripper and kyky, incessantly honing their professional skills and who I’ll be justified to call top players.
After the poor performance at OSPL Autumn the team’s roster has undergone a number of changes, , namely, Rain and IceMan left the team, Beast and Ripper got back, kyky was taken on board. Please give us some comments on these changes, of course if you feel like it, I believe many fans are struggling to keep track of these changes but their effort has been hampered by the scanty official statements.
It’s not true to the whole extent; to be exact it was only Rain who left the team, while Iceman was invited to only play for the team at OSPL Autumn. And Beast and Ripper were never known to leave the team, it was only for the summer that the guys pulled out from Dota, being consumed by matters of more prevalence. As for Kyky, I’m sure that the story of him appearing in the roster is known to everyone, to put it all in a nutshell Alexandr was shortlisted for the team out of some hundreds of candidates. In doing so we meant to give an opportunity to budding, persistent and motivated players to hit their stride – we have never regretted it ever since, he’s gradually becoming excellent and has earned a good reputation through making an amazing show of his skillfulness at Qwerty Autumn which ensured his leadership in the tourney.
On this occasion I’d like to thank Rain and Iceman for their excellent play at OSPL and for the time spent with the team. Thank you guys!
RoX playing
RoX.KIS hardly have any titles under the belt, nor have they won any tournaments, you must be all willing to score high in this ASUS tourney? How motivated are the players?
ROX.KIS players are always overwhelmed with drive, the only goal in view is TOP 1, we won’t be satisfied with any result but this. We didn’t feel sore about not winning any titles in our first ASUS in the spring of 2009, I expect you to remember the game against Platinum Sports; neither will it bring us down this time. We are going to “sweat” our way through the tournament performing our best in the name of our fans and the glory of the team, of that you can be dead sure You are bound to hear Santa’s voice going “DOOOMOOOI!”(domoi = go home on russian)
Who do you find to be the toughest enemy at ASUS Autumn 2009? Which of the opponents do you find the most interesting to play against?
Nothing new here. DTS strengthened by Jolie, AEON powered by eryc, Planet-X and some number of high-skill mixed teams, Vova13’s team being the strongest of them.
And the last question which comes from Russian dota fans. Do you plan on attending events of international importance in the future? LAN events outside of the CIS countries are of special interest here, is your organization ready to provide such a possibility?
ROX.KIS is an outstanding team with an excellent sponsorship by Kaspersky Lab and SteelSeries, who will doubtless help us travel over to international LAN events in the nearest future, that’s what I’d like to genuinely thank them for.
Thank you for spending some of your time on the interview, do you want to say something before you are off?
I want to give my regards to all ROX.KIS.DotA fans, without your support we can’t possibly win.
